In 2021, SSOVA wanted to bring Florida Beach Volleyball to Costa Rica.

-We recommend flying into Liberia Airport, Costa Rica.

-3 Nights at Pension Playa Samara Hotel, Samara, Costa Rica. Breakfast included.

-Round Trip Airport Shuttle from Liberia Airport.

-3 Evenings of Volleyball Activities. We have lights on the beach!

-Welcome Dinner Social at Las Olas Restaurant on the Beach (Meal & Soft Drink included).

-Souvenir Dry Fit Long Sleeve Shirt, mailed to you before the event.

-Your mornings and afternoons are open for you to do whatever you want... surf lessons, ATV, sleep in, etc.

Samara is a family, friendly town where speaking Spanish is not required. Also, there are various restaurants and grocery stores in town. See the SSOVA map!

How To Sign Up:

Step 1. Complete the

I'm Interested in Going to Costa Rica Trip Request Form.

-This is to confirm room availability before you book anything. We will email you back to let you know your room choice is available.

Enter if you are requesting a room by yourself or shared with someone and how many beds. Example, a parent and their child would need a room together but 2 beds.

Step 2. Purchase your SSOVA Costa Rica Trip Ticket.

Step 3. Book your flights.

-If we are picking you up then you must fly into Liberia Airport.

-If you want to come earlier or later and stay at the Pension Playa Samara, it will be $100/night per person PLUS an additional shuttle ticket ($300) + SSOVA Trip Ticket. Shuttle can be shared up to 4. Email Director@SSOVA.com to inquire to ensure there is room availability before you book your flight.

Step 4: Email Director@SSOVA.com your flight information for the airport shuttle.

What else do I need to know?

You need a valid Passport.
You are responsible for your food and beverage for all times except the Friday Night Social Dinner & breakfast at Pension Playa Samara. There are restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. See SSOVA Map.
You can use a credit card or debit card at restaurants and stores. No need to exchange to local currency.
Pension Playa Samara has a pool.
Cell phone service is not guaranteed. Please check with your cell provider before arriving in Costa Rica regarding international calling plans.
If you want to stay somewhere else and provide your own airport transportation, you can purchase a $299 Trip Ticket (no hotel or shuttle). This included 3 nights of volleyball, the Welcome Party Meal and Long Sleeve. Purchase your SSOVA No Hotel, No Shuttle Ticket here.
Travel Insurance. We highly recommend this to cover all non-refundable aspects of your trip. We recommend Allianz. $78~
SSOVA Costa Rica 2025 is Non-Refundable and you are traveling at your own risk in another country. Please share your trip details with a friend or family.
If you do not want to participate in volleyball, you are not required but the price is the same for Adults. Children not playing volleyball do not need to purchase a SSOVA Ticket (Non-Volleyball Playing children are free). Volleyball Playing Children require a SSOVA ticket. Please ensure your room availability before booking to ensure you have enough beds.
